New President Elected for Utah Chapter of International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners

Ed Roberson, Director of Business Development for JourneyTEAM, is new IAMCP President



Salt Lake City, UT - December 2017 — The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) Utah Chapter, recently elected Ed Roberson, Director of Business Development for JourneyTEAM, as its new President, effective January 2018.


Formed in 1994, the IAMCP serves as the preeminent global networking venue for Microsoft Partners. The IAMCP mission is to maximize the business potential of members through peer-to-peer interaction, member advocacy, community outreach, growth and education—while enhancing members’ ties to Microsoft.


Currently, IAMCP has 38 chapters in the US and over 100 chapters globally. Membership is open to anyone desiring to be part of the Microsoft business and technical community.


“Ed Roberson has a wealth of knowledge in the local and national business technology communities and will be a great leader helping to build the local Utah, IAMCP,” said outgoing President Chris Paulding of Connection Enterprise Solutions. “He has already jumped right in and has started to take over the roles and responsibility of being the President of the IAMCP.”


A former rocket scientist, Roberson's background includes experience in the telecommunications and IT infrastructure, defense, and private technology consulting industries. He has been a President’s Ambassador for the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years and has served on the boards of several other local Chambers of Commerce. He is the married father of 6 boys, and has proudly called Utah home since graduating from The University of Texas-Austin with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
